Our Organization

Carers Queensland is the peak body representing unpaid family and community community organization in South Sudan.

​

We respond to the unique and changing needs of the 633,000 displace families the and those they care for.

Leap For Life started as Mary Gideon, South Sudanese Mother of six, who own Qld Quality Care, in Australia and in 2018 she established Leap for lifes organization for south Sudan, its head office in Torit, South Sudan in 2020.

Since then, we have given carers a voice.

We champion equal rights and opportunities. We focus on providing support services to caring families based on what they need.

We provide hands-on support to disadvantage families through our regional offices across Eastern Equatorial, working in close collaboration with community groups, other state Associations and strategic partners in South Sudan.
