Leap For Life Kenya Program

Leap for Life’s is a non-profit organization providing free service, an organisation that, welcomes and supports Returnees and IDPs entering South Sudanese.
Each week, tens of volunteers give their time to help positively connect some of the thousands south Sudanese doing it tough. The focus is on creating a safe, positive and supportive environment for people who are too often ignored or feel disconnected from the community and disadvantaged.

Our POLICY
This policy aims to minimise the risk of financial wrongdoing from Leap For Life’s stakeholders and using Leap For Life’s funds. The policy: outlines our internal mechanisms for the prevention and detection of financial wrongdoing; summaries the responsibilities of our team members in the prevention and detection of financial wrongdoing; guides team members on actions to be taken in the reporting and investigation of financial wrongdoing; and provides assurance that we are fulfilling our moral and legal obligations in relation to funds that are entrusted to us.
The purpose of this policy is to: communicate clear expectations regarding the prevention of financial wrongdoing to our stakeholders; ensure that relevant stakeholders are aware of their responsibilities in the prevention and reporting of financial wrongdoing; and provide guidance for the investigation of any allegations of financial wrongdoing.
Leap For Life is obliged to adhere to national and international laws for the prevention of financial wrongdoing. In addition, we have a moral obligation to responsibly steward the funds entrusted to us by others. This policy is part of a framework of responses to ensure that we discharge these obligations responsibly

Leap For Lifes (LFL) Inc, Kenya program work to help people who’ve survived some of the world’s worst regimes. We get them the basic support they need to live again with dignity. Leap For Lifes (LFL) Inc, vision is that refugees and vulnerable family both in Kenya and those in refugees comp will be welcome and supported. They will get justice, live free of poverty and be able to successfully rebuild their lives in kenya or around other resettling nations.

We are with refugees and community groups. Our work is shaped by the experience of refugees and people seeking asylum. We stand alongside them to call for change and empower them to realise their aspirations in Australia.

Our Approach
We invest where inequality is the greatest by helping refugees and their families who are forgotten survivors of war and Conflict. We help them learn the skills they need to rebuild their families and communities inclusively.
